Aceca's Witchy Woman of Charoite (Xena Bean)
For a dog more at home on the trail, Beany did very well in the show ring last year, earning her KC Stud Book Number and being awarded her first Reserve Challenge Certificate at Working and Pastoral Breeds of Wales under Karsten Gronas of the influential Vargevass kennel in Central Sweden. The show season got off a good start this year with Beany placed 2nd in Limit Bitch at Crufts, under breed specialist Sheila Luxmoore. This was followed by 1st place Limit Bitch at the Scottish Siberian Husky Club Open Show (judge Nicky Spowart) where she went on to win Reserve Best Bitch, 2nd place in Open Bitch at Paignton Championship show under all-rounder Nigel Luxmoore-Ball, 2nd Open Bitch at the Siberian Husky Club of Great Britain Northern Show judged by breed specialist Andrew Grisbrooke and 1st place Limit Bitch at Leeds Championship Show under Linda Pritchett.

"G/W left her coat at home but her proportions, angulation and condition were all superb, she outmoved the rest of the class with a free and easy movement that had drive and substance. In the Challenge her fabulous shoulders gave her the edge," Nicky Spowart, Scottish Siberian Husky Club April Open Show, 1st Limit Bitch and RBB.

Woodsong Babyface of Charoite (Daisy) - in action at Leeds Championship Dog Show.
After doing well in Puppy classes, Daisy took a little break from the show ring to mature. She was only shown lightly last summer and is settling down nicely again. Although she too much prefers to be running in harness, Daisy was placed 3rd in her class at Crufts 2007 and has been placed consistently including a 2nd in Postgraduate Bitch under judge Julia Sims at Southern Counties Championship Show. She was also placed 2nd in Mid Limit Bitch by Andrew Grisbrooke at the Siberian Husky Club of Great Britain Northern Show. She gained her Stud Book Number in July at East of England Championship Show winning Limit Bitch under breed specialist David Patterson. Most recently Daisy won a strong Limit Bitch class at the Scottish Siberian Husky Club Championship show under judge Simon Luxmoore.
"Her correct shoulder and upper arm construction, coupled with sound movement won her the class, shown in firm condition, good chiselling to head, friendly expression, well held topline, good bone, tail well set and carried," David Patterson, East of England Championship Show (1st Limit Bitch).
"Another lovely girl, so close to 1st. Such a sweet expressive face, with nicely set almond eyes and good earset. Excellent ground covering effortless movement with plenty of reach and drive. Good construction, nicely sloping pasterns, well muscled. Very feminine girl," Julia Sims, Southern Counties Championship Show, (2nd Postgraduate bitch).

Excellent sound movement coming and going. Shown and handled well," Barbara Stanier, Driffield Championship Show (2nd Postgraduate Bitch).
"Very nice piebald youngster with a fabulous head, high set ears, nicely positioned eyes, good stop and well pigmented close fitting lips. Shown in hard condition she was strong thoughout and presented an athletic outline. Excellent fit feet, nice medium bone, good reach of neck and covered the ground with an easy light footed gait," Simon Luxmoore, Welsh Kennel Club Championship Show (1st Junior Bitch)
"Pretty 11 month old black and white bitch. Alert expression and well constructed. Full of attitude! Covered the ground with ease and very fluently. Well handled," Pauline Sirrell, Crowle Open Show (!st Junior and BP)
All my dogs are - or have been - shown as well as worked in harness. Mojo retired herself after graduating from puppy classes, she just doesn't enjoy the attention. Tigerlily is also fairly shy and is only lightly shown although she qualified alongside Beany and Daisy for Crufts 2007 and was placed 4th in a very competitive class of 20. Well done, Tiger ! Tiger was also placed 2nd in her class at the Scottish Siberian Husky Club April Open Show.
"Sable. Quite a little lady, correct construction with lovely gliding movement, her lfat coat at the moment makes her seem less typical looking but is structurally very typical," Nicky Spowart. Scottish Siberian Club Open Show, 2nd Novice Bitch.
"Not the greatest show girl but a very well constructed young lady, very nice on the out and back and in profile, would just prefer more of her all round," Sarah Robinson, Boston Championship Show, 3rd Postgraduate Bitch.
